Our journey began with a simple question: how can we promote excellent oral health while contributing to a healthier planet?
The answer was PÄRLA, an eco-friendly alternative to traditional toothpaste that lets you smile with confidence, knowing you are making a positive impact on the environment.
Most toothpaste still comes in plastic tubes, and many products contain ingredients derived from palm oil or are tested on animals.
Each year, 20 billion toothpaste tubes go into landfill or the ocean. By 2050, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation predicts there could be more plastic in our oceans than fish in the sea.

With more than 30 years of combined dental expertise, our founders are leading the way in creating an oral care brand unlike anything else on the market.
Dr Rhona Eskander is an award-winning dentist, international speaker and lecturer who has been featured on national television. Forbes described her as the "woman who is working to change the health and wellness industries in the UK." She is also the only female dentist to win Best Young Dentist at the Private Dentistry Awards within a three-year period.
Dr Simon Chard is an award-winning cosmetic dentist, international lecturer and President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He was voted dentistry's Person of the Year in 2023 and has been featured in British GQ, The Times and Men's Health. Alongside his wife, Dr Meghan Chard, he co-owns Rothley Lodge Dental, where they have cared for the oral health of people across Surrey for many years.
Dr Adarsh Thanki is a cosmetic dentist based in London's world-renowned Harley Street medical district. As principal dentist and owner of the Ace Dental Group, he brings together a select group of highly skilled dental surgeons, the latest technology and a caring environment to provide an exceptional experience for every patient.
