Brush twice daily for 2 minutes. Clean every surface of every tooth, inside, outside, and the chewing side. Replace every 2–3 months or when bristles splay.
The handle is home-compostable, snap it into pieces and add to your compost bin. The bristles are also compostable. Nothing goes to landfill.

Common questions
Yes, the bristles are made from castor bean oil, which is fully home-compostable. Most 'eco' brushes still use nylon bristles. Ours don't.
Snap or cut the handle into smaller pieces (helps it break down faster) and add to your home compost or green waste bin. The bristles can go in too.
Every 2–3 months, or sooner if the bristles start to splay. Splayed bristles clean less effectively.
Not with proper care. Stand it upright in a cup to let it dry between uses. The Moso bamboo we use is naturally anti-microbial.
